What does it look like to live out the greatest commandment in action? Jesus taught that the greatest commandment was to love the Lord your God with all your heart, soul and mind and the second is to love your neighbor as yourself. Do we follow the Lord, keep his commandment, obey his calling, serve, and hold fast to the truth of His word?
Paul often asked for prayer over his ministry. We can use his model to pray for open doors to recognize the opportunities that God puts before us. We should also pray for God to make His message clear and for our responsiveness to His word. Lastly, we should pray for physical and spiritual protection for those leading ministries.
Make every effort to keep yourselves united in the Spirit, binding yourselves together with peace. 4For there is one body and one Spirit, just as you have been called to one glorious hope for the future. Ephesians 4:3-4
Biblical unity requires us to examine our attitudes, gifts, roles, and growth to be united as one body.
