Memory Verse
“Let your light shine before others, so that they may see your good works.”
Matthew 5:16
Showing Jesus’ love to juniors
Our Juniors volunteers have a special place in their hearts for young learners, their attention spans, energy, development, and abilities. Volunteers help these kids understand the basics of faith in Jesus at levels they can handle using methods that help them understand and build faith and friendships.
Showing Jesus’ Love to Parents
Our volunteers use their time serving as a way to love on parents as much as love on the kids. As any parent of a toddler understands, it can be hard to focus on yourself if you need to entertain the toddler, especially when the message isn't designed to engage toddler-aged children. We strive to give you peace of mind knowing your child is cared for so you can focus on what Jesus is speaking into your life through the worship and message.
Safe & Secure
We take our responsibility as caretakers seriously, because we—many of us as parents/grandparents ourselves—understand how hard it can be to trust someone to care for your Toddler/Pre-Kindergartner. That’s why we have certain policies to make sure parents feel comfortable leaving their children in our care.
-
Our Juniors doors are locked to ensure only Juniors volunteers and parents/guardians can access the room. Parents can look through the windows to see what’s happening at any point and wave to a volunteer for access to pick up their child using the sticker you received at check-in.
-
We stock the Juniors room with toddler-safe toys and allergen-friendly, age-appropriate snacks (if parents confirm the child can have a snack).
-
Our volunteers are all background-checked and never alone with children. We always schedule multiple adult volunteers for every age group to ensure accountability at all levels.
