Loved by Jesus. Loved by us.
Showing Jesus’ love to babies
Our volunteers love caring for infants’ unique needs, and—even though infants don’t learn from Bible stories like older children—we know that caring for them is more than keeping them asleep, making them laugh, and making sure they aren’t sitting around in a dirty diaper.
We believe that every infant who enters our nursery is an opportunity to pray over the life of that child, that—as they grow—they would see Jesus work in wonderful ways and find their faith in Him.
Showing Jesus’ Love to Parents
Our nursery is also a chance for us to show Jesus’ love for parents. When you’re caring for an infant, it can be hard to set aside time to care for your own needs. We strive to give you peace of mind knowing your child is cared for so you can focus on what Jesus is speaking into your life through the worship and message.
Safe & Secure
We take our responsibility as caretakers seriously, because we—many of us as parents/grandparents ourselves—understand how hard it can be to trust someone to care for your baby. That’s why we have certain policies to make sure parents feel comfortable leaving their infants in our care.
-
Our nursery doors are locked to ensure only nursery volunteers and parents/guardians can access the room. Parents can look through the windows to see what’s happening at any point and wave to a volunteer for access to pick up their child using the sticker you received at check-in.
-
We stock the nursery with infant-safe toys and allergen-friendly, age-appropriate snacks (if parents confirm the child can have a snack).
-
Our volunteers are all background-checked and never alone with children. We always schedule multiple adult volunteers for every age group to ensure accountability at all levels.
