A purposeful witness for Christ means be purposeful in the way I live my life. My priorities, direction, beliefs, messages, and motivation should all be a light that shines to Jesus as the hope and Savior of the world.

We are called to be in fellowship with our brothers and sisters in Christ. In order to be purposeful in our fellowship, we need to have the right motive, correct understanding, the right perspective, and mature behavior.

Make every effort to keep yourselves united in the Spirit, binding yourselves together with peace. 4For there is one body and one Spirit, just as you have been called to one glorious hope for the future. Ephesians 4:3-4

Biblical unity requires us to examine our attitudes, gifts, roles, and growth to be united as one body.

Parenting with purpose requires providing guidance for your home. You provide guidance for your home by being intentional with your time, your display of faith, and your actions. Train up a child in the way he should go: when he is old, he will not depart from it. Proverbs 22:6

How purposeful are you in your marriage? Are you intentional with your husband? Are you intentional with your wife? Are you praying for your spouse? Are you plugged into a local church to serve and be committed and connected as a family? Are you intentional with your family and home?

How purposeful are you with your time and attitude towards your spouse? Do you find something to be gratefu for in regards to your spouse each day? Make time, tone, communication and attitude a priority with your spouse.

Will you choose to be a follower or an admirer? A follower of Jesus will be sold out for him, do what is difficult knowing that the Father walks alongside them, completely trusts in God no matter the circumstances or difficulties, and is recognized by God.

A purposeful life starts with purposeful examination. Are you focused on Jesus, the giver of all things to sustain you? Are you aware of what is influencing you? What does your influence on others look like? Are you focused on the right thing?
